Hello Wareham Middle School Families,

All students that are currently in danger of failing term 2 met with guidance counselors, assistant principals, or myself this week. There is still time to learn and produce work that will positively contribute to term 2 grades. Grades for term 2 close January 23rd.

Cell phones are starting to be an issue in school. Please remind your child that cell phones should not be seen in school.

After school on Thursday, students will be staying inside waiting for rides. Please drive down to door #9 to get them if you are not there on time. It is just getting too cold most days to stand outside. Dismissal for after school, extra help and teacher detentions is at 2:45 PM and clubs and after school activities is at 3:00 PM.

Upcoming Events:

  • 1/15/19 PTA meeting 6:30 PM at WMS
  • 1/17/19 Chorus Concert 6:00 PM at WMS
  • 1/18/19 No School teacher inservice day
  • 1/21/19 No School Martin Luther King Jr. Day
  • 1/23/19 Term 2 ends
  • 1/30/19 Report cards go home

Reminders:

  • You have 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to access to your child’s grades in PowerSchool. Please stay actively involved.
  • School starts at 7:40 AM and ends at 2:02 PM
  • Between 7:30 AM and 7:40 AM, all parents/guardians who are dropping off their child must do so at or near the auditorium/gymnasium entrance to the middle school (door #9). This entrance is located close to the Town Hall parking lot.
  • No drinks from outside school are allowed in the building with students unless it is a clear bottle containing water only.
