Dear Parents/Guardians,

Thank you very much for your help and support during the past four months.  We have missed your children, and we are hoping we will be able to greet your children as they walk through the doors in the fall.

Last week, DESE released initial guidance outlining three possible back to school scenarios and have requested the district develop plans for each.  The plans are:

  1. In-person learning with new safety requirements
  2. Hybrid learning
  3. Remote learning

To provide you with a brief overview of the work which will occur this summer as we develop the required plans.

  1. Formation of a committee comprised of parents, teachers, staff, School Committee members, and administrators. This committee will be instrumental in the design of the plans.
  2. Collect and analyze the survey (https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/5YFJTM6) results with the committee.
  3. Provide a link on the website for questions to be asked by parents, students, and community members.
  4. Provide updates as we have information to share with you.
  5. Formally share the three developed plans.

We hope to be in a position to greet your children in their classroom in the fall if we are able to meet the required guidelines as maintaining the health and safety of your children and our staff is our number one priority.  Please do not hesitate to contact me with your questions or concerns.

Again, thank you for your time and support.
