Dear Wareham Families,

One of the hallmarks of our community is its diversity. Each year for the past 13 years, Wareham Public Schools has held an International Night that celebrates the rich diversity that our town has to offer. During International Night, students, families, and community members host tables with food, traditional clothing, and artifacts from their home country or country of ancestry. There are musical and dance performances that represent the culture and traditions of many in our community. Each year, the event has grown and this year, we were thrilled to have the travelling globe available from Project EarthView of Bridgewater State University. Students and families were able to climb inside the globe to learn about geography from a BSU instructor.

Please enjoy this video highlighting this year’s event:

Congratulate to Minot Forest Elementary School for receiving this year’s Healthy Start Award!

Last evening at the School Committee Meeting a number of our staff were honored for years of service or retirement. We are extremely fortunate to have such talented staff working with our students. They make a positive difference in the lives of our students on a daily basis.
