Dear Wareham Families,

This week, many of our 7th graders at Wareham Middle School attended Nature’s Classroom, a hands-on environmental education program. During this unique experience each year, students receive lessons in core content classes in a new environment that focuses on nature and the outdoors. WMS students have consistently returned after their time at Nature’s Classroom, with new perspectives about their learning.

The final video in our School Improvement Plan vlog series features Wareham Middle School and shares in-depth about the learning experiences of our middle school students. In this video, you will hear how members of the WMS community built a culture of collective vision through voice and agency. You’ll learn how increased choice has led to student empowerment and a change of culture at WMS. Please enjoy our video about Wareham Middle School. https://vimeo.com/364607170/1bdcef820b

Best wishes for a wonderful weekend.

Sincerely,

Dr. Kimberly Shaver-Hood
