Product Names: Beer, gin, wine, vodka, bourbon, whiskey, etc.

Street Names: booze, sauce, brew, brewski, hard stuff, juice, Herb and Al (marijuana and alcohol), ocean (high alcohol content Aqua Net Hairspray and milk), etc.

Symptoms of use: Slurred speech, impaired judgement and motor skills, incoordination, confusion, tremors, drowsiness, agitation, nausea and vomiting, respiratory ailments, depression

Potential consequences: Impaired judgement can result in injuries, auto crashes, sexually transmitted diseases and HIV/AIDS. Habitual use can lead to an inability to control drinking, high tolerance level, blackouts, memory loss, interference with personal relationships, cirrhosis of the liver, vitamin deficiencies, damage to the heart and central nervous system, sexual impotence and weight gain, legal problems and criminal behavior. Approximately 25% of young drivers involved in auto accidents have been drinking.
