ide@s:  This site may be from Wisconsin, but it has all you need to plan a lesson and more...

How does ide@s work?

Selected PK-16 educators from Wisconsin work in teams to identify, evaluate, catalog, and align to the state education standards resources that are already on the internet such as lesson plans and reference materials. These resources are then made available from the ide@s search engine. Now, you don't have to look through dozens of online listings to find the resource you need. The ide@s search engine allows you to tell it specifically what you need to find then it searches the database for you. You can read teacher reviews of the resources and see exactly which state standards they address. ide@s saves you time while focusing instruction and technology on Wisconsin's Model Academic Standards. Plus, you know you're getting a quality resource that other Wisconsin educators have recommended.

There are over 1200 Lessons and activities on SCORE H/SS that address the California standards through active learning. Some require Internet access in the classroom, but others may be printed off for use in the connectivity-challenged school. In addition to the criteria listed above, lessons/activities were selected to meet the needs of California's diverse student population, meet the needs of classrooms with different levels of internet connectivity, and provide memorable learning experiences for students. Visually rich Virtual Projects & Field Trips were also selected to support English learners and challenged readers.

http://theeducatorsnetwork.com/

The Educators Network was originally founded in 1999 by a small group of teachers. From the beginning, our motto was "Where Teachers Come First". We feel that teachers are a great asset to society and deserve better online services, and thus, we proceeded to create an online environment which places the needs of individual teachers at the forefront.

Our goal is to provide teachers with resources and tools that will make their lives a little bit easier, leaving more time and energy to pursue personal and family interests. Take a moment to browse through our current selection of live sites in the navigation bar above.
