My passion for teaching art led me to the Decas School over 20 years ago. I enjoy the eagerness, spontaneity and expressiveness unique to elementary school children.

The arts are an integral part of basic education. Creative thinking skills nurtured in art class enhance all areas of the academic curriculum. I strive to instill in the students a lifelong love of the arts.

At the end of the school day I switch gears to work on my horse farm and volunteer as a leader of 4H youth.
