From Boston and Points North

From Route 24 go south to Route 495 (Cape Cod).  Follow Route 495 South until it changes to Route 25 .  After the change follow Route 25 to Exit 1 (Onset/Wareham, Routes 6 & 28).  At the end of the exit ramp bear right onto route 28.  Follow Route 28 to the third set of lights.  Turn right at the third set of lights onto Depot Street and follow approximately ½ mile (to railroad crossing). After you go over the railroad tracks, bear to the left (there will be a gas station on your left). This is Onset Avenue.  Follow Onset Avenue approximately 2 ? 2 ½ miles until you reach the center of town. You will pass a small town green on your right, the Onset Post Office on your right, and when you see Marc Anthony's on your right (it is about 2 or 3 stores after the post office); take a left onto Highland Avenue. There will be a town green on your right and on your left will be parking lots. After the parking lots there will be a small white building on your left. This is the Ethel E. Hammond School.

From Providence RI and Points South

From Interstate 95 go to Interstate 195 East.  Follow Interstate 195 East to Exit 21 (Wareham, Route 28) and bear right at the end of the exit ramp onto Route 28.  Follow Route 28 to the third set of lights.  Turn right at the third set of lights onto Depot Street and follow approximately ½ mile (to railroad crossing). From Cape Cod (Bourne Bridge)

Follow Route 25 West for approximately 6 miles (from bridge) to Exit 1 (Onset/Wareham - Routes 6 & 28).  Bear right at the end of the exit ramp and follow this road straight through 2 sets of lights (this will be Depot Street).  Continue to follow Depot Street to the railroad crossing.
